    Sagt man gebräuchlicherweise at the weekend oder on the weekend?
    Oder ist das erstere britisches Englisch und zweites amerikanisches Englisch?

    Ja, "at" ist BE, "on" sagt man in den USA und Kanada.

    Generally speaking (there are exceptions), it's a BE/AE difference: at in BE and on in AE.

    And you can fool them all by saying "over the weekend." Even "during the weekend." Don't overthink it.

    Wenn schon der Unterschied nach britischem, US-amerikanischem und kanadischem Englisch gemacht wird, how is it in australian English (if there is any chance AT all [or ON all?] lớn understand what ever an Aussie try lớn tell you...)
